Service Description
A weekly online gathering for writers seeking refuge, momentum, and connection to their writing life. Each 75-min meeting follows a similar rhythm: We begin with a playful ice-breaker, or short meditation. I share a Google Doc with selected literary excerpts --prose and poetry. I offer 1–2 prompt options inspired by the craft or themes of these texts We write, quietly and individually in response to the first reading &prompt, for about 10-15 minutes (some writes are short "sprints" to loosen up our critical voices; others are "longer walks" that let our voice really drop into deeper layers of memory, imagination, and attention). We re-enter the "room" to share what happened for us--either on the page, or in our process. (no pressure, no critique) We repeat these writing & reading circuits 2-3 times, until we reach the hour. We conclude with a brief reflection and check-in. These sessions are generative, low-pressure, and restorative—a place to experiment, reconnect, and loosen up! Braided into our writing and reading are often short desk-yoga flows and meditations, to help us recenter and stay connected to the body. :) You'll have the option to share your work and encourage each other's bravery / playfulness on the page, but sharing is never mandatory!
